The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Head of Equities to lead and manage our equities strategies and operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the financial sector, with a proven track record in equities trading, portfolio management, and leadership. This role requires a strategic thinker who can drive results and maintain a competitive edge in a fast-paced market.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute comprehensive equity strategies to optimize portfolio performance and market share.
Lead equities trading and investment activities, ensuring alignment with company goals and risk management policies.
Oversee equity research, analysis, and reporting to support informed decision-making.
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, brokers, and financial institutions.
Lead a team of analysts and traders, providing mentorship and direction.
Analyze market trends and economic conditions to adjust strategies and capitalize on investment opportunities.
Work closely with senior management to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on portfolio performance.
Ensure alignment of equities strategies with the company’s financial objectives and risk tolerance.
Drive the development of new financial products or solutions within the equity market.
Stay updated on market regulations, trends, and best practices to ensure compliance and optimal strategies.

Qualifications and Requirements:

10+ years of experience in equities or financial services, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
MBA, or relevant qualification in finance or related field.
Expertise in equities trading, portfolio management, and financial analysis.
Proven track record of managing large-scale equity portfolios and delivering strong financial returns.
Strong understanding of market dynamics, trading platforms, and financial regulations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage a team and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Strong decision-making and analytical skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of risk management practices and portfolio diversification strategies.

Salary: Based on experience.

Work Timing: 9 AM – 6 PM (Mon-Fri) and 10 AM – 4 PM (Saturday).
